1.Project Background
Environmental noise pollution, like air pollution, water pollution, and solid waste pollution, is one of the main environmental issues in modern society. It not only disrupts people’s normal work, life, and rest but can also have serious effects on their health. The national environmental complaint hotline, 12369, receives numerous noise pollution complaints, especially prominent in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, accounting for over 50% of all environmental complaints. Among them, road traffic noise has a significant impact. Noise pollution control along high-speed railways, highways, urban viaducts, and urban rail transit lines has been included in the scope of environmental governance by the environmental protection departments. Currently, the main method of control is to install road sound barrier products on both sides of railways and highways to reduce noise pollution.
2. Solution
Railway sound barriers are composed of foundations, H-shaped steel columns, sound-absorbing and isolating unit panels, rubber cushioning components, and installation accessories. There are generally two types of sound barriers: bridge sound barriers and embankment sound barriers, with heights ranging from 2.3m to 3.9m, adjustable according to different routes. Bridge sound barriers typically use metal unit panels, while embankment sound barriers generally use non-metal unit panels. In sections where visibility is needed, transparent soundproof panels of a certain height are added to the upper part.
