The Wind Control and Dust Reduction Project at Quanwan Coal Terminal in Huihzou Port has recently been successfully completed by Shangfeng Technology. Upon its delivery and usage, the comprehensive dust suppression effect reaches over 85%, significantly improving the dust control level in the port area and marking a new milestone in its green port construction.
Located in Daya Bay, Chuanzhou Island, and adjacent waters of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, Quanwan Coal Terminal is a major coal terminal in South China and the largest coal terminal in eastern Guangdong, with a capacity of 15 million tons per year. The first phase of the project has completed the construction of two 70,000-ton berths and supporting facilities, covering a total area of 745,000 square meters.
During the loading, unloading, and storage processes in the coal yard, large amounts of dust pollution are generated during windy weather conditions, causing not only atmospheric pollution in the surrounding areas but also significant material losses. According to the pollution coefficient published by the environmental protection department, the storage and operation of one ton of coal can result in a loss of 1-2 kilograms per year.
